How are sales year over year and year to date?
This blog looks at the year to date sales for the Monterey Peninsula cities of Carmel, Pebble Beach, Pacific Grove, Monterey (+ Del Rey Oaks), Seaside (+ Sand City) and Carmel Valley. It also compares the numbers for August 2017 compared to August 2016.
Number of Sales Continues Steadily
Number of sales for the year are higher in four of the six markets, but just 4% more sales for the Peninsula collectively. Median prices are relatively similar. Interest rates remain low that continues to keep the real estate market healthy.
